Beginners in Jython, interested in learning how to use JList, JTable,
GridBagLayout, JDBC, and many other constructs in Jython without having
to ask this list?
I just discovered this book:
"Python Programming with the Java(TM) Class Libraries by Richard
Hightower, Addison-Wesley, ISBN 0-201-61616-5"
Nota bene: I do not know the author, I am not affiliated with
Addison-Wesley, and I received no compensation for recommending this
book other than the satisfaction of knowing that those new to Jython
actually have books to read unlike me when I first dabbled in it over
two years ago.
There are two older (but still very good) books Jython Essentials
(O'Reilly) and Jython for Java Programmers (New Riders) but I recommend
Hightower's book because it is the newest and therefore benefits from
the trail blazed by the other two as well as advances by Jython and
