I have two questions about Jython that I hope people on
the list can help clarify:
1. If I just want to use Python language and I won't be using
any Java integration, is there still some benefit to use Jython
instead of CPython?
2. Although Java and .NET platform are two very different platforms,
they do have a lot in common as virtual machines running managed code.
So I imagine Jython could have a similar implementation as IronPython,
similar to some extent. Is this the case? Other than Jython is
cross-platform while IronPython mainly run on Windows, how do them
stack up against each other in terms of features and performance and
other aspects of Python language implementation?
