Hi, all,

I suppose it is a problem? But I did not find it mentioned in bugs.jython or mailing list yet.

In CPython,

>>> import itertools
>>> print itertools.__doc__
Functional tools for creating and using iterators.

Infinite iterators:
count([n]) --> n, n+1, n+2, ...
cycle(p) --> p0, p1, ... plast, p0, p1, ...
repeat(elem [,n]) --> elem, elem, elem, ... endlessly or up to n times
...

In Jython 2.5rc4 branch,

Jython 2.5rc4+ (Release_2_5rc4:7056, May 22 2010, 06:37:18)
[Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (Apple Inc.)] on java1.6.0_20
>>> import itertools
>>> print itertools.__doc__
<reflected field public static org.python.core.PyString org.python.modules.itertools.__doc__ 0x1>

Cheers,

Anthony
