Tim-

At this time, hsqldb is not currently supported by the django-jython project.

In order to make use of Django from Jython you need to include the Django Jython project for database support and other Jython supported features.  At this time, postgres, Oracle, mysql, and mssql2k are supported.  You can also use sqllite, but that backend is not up-to-date and probably needs some work.

Hope this helps.

Hi,

I'm writing a Django app which will run on Jython (and Tomcat), and I'd
like to access a hsqldb database.  Is this possible?

Thanks,

Tim.
