we are having problems getting jython to garbage collect so at this point, the user can only do a task once then must quite the program and come back in.  the basic code is something like this:
import myjavaclass
import java.lang as lang
t = myjavaclass.myjavaclass()
# at this point,  you can see the system memory goes up way up
t = None
# at this point gc had no effect on the memory.
am i doing something wrong to get the memory garbage collected?  i ran the above test in the jython interpreter and as a script and as a compiled class file, but the memory never gets freed.
