We are interested in writing a Swing client application in Jython, but are concerned about how this would be packaged for install on clients.  Our users are not power users, so it'd have to be very easy and self-contained, InstallShield-ish kind of install.  The point of the application is to be available as a backup when the Internet is down, so doing it as an applet is not an option.
Similarly, once installed, it'd have to be a click-the-icon-and-run kind of situation -- the users cannot know or care that this is not a typical Windows or Mac application.
Any suggestions?  Maybe Jython is not the right tool to write client apps, it's more for server-side?
