I've been looking through the V4 sources, and have a number of issues
with the design. Now, what's in CVS is clearly not in a "finished" state
- is it reasonable to assume that things have progressed behind the
scenes? Or would a critique of the current CVS tree be useful? I'd
really like to try to make a difference *before* V4 becomes more
