There should be some color theme presets.

I used to like tweaking all my colors myself, but now I trust the text editor developers that give me 2-3 color theme presets to choose from. I especially like dark color schemes to preserve my eyesight for long hours of coding. These presets would also apply to syntax highlighting so that every color scheme is usable with all languages.

What is needed is a theme dropdown to choose from, and a "Customize" button that gives you access to advanced syntax-highlighting color editor.

That will be done for sure. For now you can tweak colors by manual editing xml-files with themes (I know, that sucks and not user-friendly at all, but the good thing here that it's possible :))

User's XML-themes are located at /home/$USER/.config/juff/hlschemes/ on Unix-like systems and .... somewhere at C:\Documents and Settings\%USER%\.config\juff\hlschemes\ on Windows. May be under "Application Data" or so, I'm not sure (sorry, I don't have Windows to check it out)

Indeed. Juffed is the only light bg coloured app in my system as manually configuring fg and bg colours make some highlighted texts unreadable. Just two presets would be fine I guess: Solarized Dark and Solarized Light.
