Hi,
We are using the 32 bit ntlmauth.dll JTDS connector version 1.2.5 in the 32 bit MS Windows environment to connect to 64 bit MS SQL Server 2008 R2.
We are getting following error. But there is no error for configuration of 32 bit SQL Server with 32 bit ntlmauth.dll in the 32 bit MS Windows environment.
“Could not get JDBC Connection; nested exception is org.apache.commons.dbcp.SQLNestedException: Cannot create PoolableConnectionFactory (I/O Error: SSO Failed: Native SSPI library not loaded.”
Following is the configuration:
1. Java application with Tomcat6, installed on 32 bit MS Windows machine.
2. Using 32 bit open source jTDS ntlmauth.dll, to execute stored proc
3. 64 bit MS SQL Server 2008 R2

Thanks in advanced for your help.

The driver is unable to load the correct ntlmauth.dll for the client platform, it must be placed somewhere in the system path (defined by the PATH system variable). Make sure only the 32bit version of the lib is in the system path.

    Cheers,
    momo
