We are currently working on an Android apk and so far have seen single spectra and Block files overlaid. Not yet sure what the upper limit is to number of data points but have displayed an NTUPLES NMR with 2 sets of 32K points. Look for a new Branch soon

Bob Hanson has orchestrated (solo violin) a major revision of code to remove the external JARs. Final JAR sizes are now all around 200K. The load function now works for AnIML, CML and JDX types. The unsigned applet can export a file by writing to the Java console

The issue with JAVA 1.6.0_02 has apparently NOT changed since similar problem found with the 03 update. The web applet should now run since the security exception for the export routine bypassed by dropping ALL export from the web code until a solution is found
There appears to be a bug that affects JSpecView when used with the latest JAVA run time engine 1.6_02. If possible, please revert to 1.6_01 and wait for SUN to release a patch or 1.6_03 before upgrading.

The latest application JAR release (2006/03/28) will import and export UV/Vis or IR AnIML files. The code is not finished or fully stable but it gives a chance for all to see possibilities. Exports make use of a template file similar to the method used for export of SVG files
Thanks to Stuart Chalk and Peter Linstrom for providing code to read AnIML files I have been able to start developing support for AnIML.
Using similar methods to that used in the SVG export I have added writing AnIML files as well (so far I have not tackled NMR data).
Will release a version through File Release soon (27th March 2006).

The initial release was based on testing in non-European countries and as a number of people discovered was not able to cope when "," is the norm for the "." in numbers.
This should now be fixed.
Note as well that the JARS use calls that are dependent on Java 1.5 and will not work with 1.4
The initial set of files were deposited on the 1st March 2006.
A set of compiled jars for the applet and application are present as well
