There are no API docs as far as I am aware. It is a pity. Anyway, the best way to start learning how to use JSch is to look at the many sample programs in the 'examples' subfolder of the unpacked ZIP. The names are quite descriptive.
In my organization, we looked at Sftp.java and KnownHosts.java and from that point it was fairly easy.
