It really is simple, Take the datcom (stability axis) derivatives, apply the transformation in the table, use the new (body axis) derivatives for JSBSim input. Nothing else is required – JSBSim does the rest. E.g for the Lv derivative Lv (body axis) = -Nv (stability axis) * sin (alpha) + Lv (stability axis) * cos (alpha) The Lp derivative transformation is a bit more complicated Lp = Nr * sin(alpha) * sin(alpha) + Lp * cos(alpha) * cos(alpha) – Lp * sin(alpha) * cos(alpha) – Np* sin(alpha) * cos(alpha) Alan |
