No

During remote debugging, the variables view does not
work: variables simply do not appear.

Also, switching from the "stdout content" to the
variables view causes a new blank buffer as the file
under test to appear.

Platform: Mac OS X 10.3.4, jEdit 4.2pre14, jPyDbg 0.7.

    I just wonder if this is platform dependant ;

    I made a try test with a windows jedit client to linux remote
    debugging session with the firstsample.py provided inside
    jpydbg python package , and I am able to see the variables.

    I Fixed a problem in jpydaemon V0.0.8 which was preventing
    correct startup of jpydaemon remote debugging when
    PYTHONPATH is loading the debuggee in current directory...
    but I am not sure that this may fix the problem you got

    Are you able to reproduce the problem on Mac using
    firstsample.py ?

    Thanks
    Jean-Yves
