There seem to be several GUIs for j-passwordsafe

- and now a proposal of SWING
Is there a clear separation between business layer and UI? Or would this
work first need to be done?
If I ever can spare some time (that's so hard), I'd be happy playing again
I also send this to the mailing list, as it might be interesting for

That's just one benefit.
I also have been thinking of a Swing version, for three reasons:
- SWT does not yet run on Mac OS Java 6, because of 64 bit.
- SWT bloats the download
- SWT makes building and deploying a real pain.
On the other hand, I see two little problems:
- Swing supports a tray only starting with Java 6
- It means a bit of work to reach the level at which the SWT version is.
In any case I try to make it easier to switch by keeping "business
logic" like password generation into the lib.
Besides me though, I can't remember any interest in a Swing version.
Maybe among the original developers of the PasswordSafeJava Project
(check the source authors)?

Personally, I feel tempted to work on a Swing version after Version 0.8.
