If I crop an image, then use my mousewheel to go to the next, the go back, the previous image is still cropped. But if I crop it and go to the previous one and then back, it show the original image.

This doesn't happen always. If I have three images: 1.JPG, 2.PNG and 3.PNG:

  • If I start from 2.PNG, crop, go to 3.PNG, go back - 2.PNG is still cropped 90% of the time.
  • If I start from 2.PNG, crop, go to 1.JPG, go back - 2.PNG is still cropped
  • If I start from 3.PNG, crop, go to 2.PNG, go back - 3.PNG is still cropped.
  • But if I start with 1.JPG, crop, go to 2.PNG and go back - 1.JPG is always the original image.

It also happens in a folder with only two JPGs, but only with the second image.

Settings: Display Order: Filename, Upcounting, WrapAroundFolder=false
OS: Windows 8.1 Pro.

I think this behaviour should be consistent.

Caused by read-ahead cache in conjunction with the caching strategy.
Processed images will be removed from the cache in next version.
