When trying to open a 21,4MB jpeg file (9636*13747), the app fails "Reason: Not enough memory available". I have 1,5GB of available physical memory and 770MB of free physical memory in Windows task manager.

Version 1.0.26.0
OS Win7

That is typically too big for JPEGView. To improve processing performance, the image is kept in memory as a whole. This file uses 9636137474 bytes, that is over 500 MB. The Windows 32 bit version normally fails allocating this large continous memory chunks.

I keep getting errors of "not enough memory available" with newer versions of JPEGView, where older versions would work fine.
It usually happens after I minimise JPEGView for a while and then switch back to it.

I close this ticket because the 64 bit version (available since 1.0.32) should be able to open files of this size.
The 32 bit version will never support files of this size - use the 64 bit version in this case.
