A file watching facility for Java. Uses native platform support to avoid polling on selected platforms (currently supports win32, Mac OS X, Linux and FreeBSD on x86 platforms). Implements JDK 7's WatchService, but also runs on Java 5 and 6

  • I like this project and could test it on Windows and Mac OS without any complications. Good work, Uwe! It's interesting that depending on the OS for each file put in the watching queue you get different number of MODIFY Events, e.g. on Mac OS I get 1 and on Windows XP I get 3.
