    OS: Windows 2000 Professional
    JRE: 1.4 and 1.5

    After installing jose ran once.
As from the second time the only thing I get is the splashscreen. Then it hangs whether I start it from the exe or different command-line options.
I de- and reinstalled several times even downloaded and installed the java-including version

The difference between jre 1.4 and 1.5 is that I get an error log with the latter one:

serial version mismatch for javax.swing.text.StyleContext (no reason to worry)
serial version mismatch for javax.swing.text.StyleContext$NamedStyle (no reason to worry)

Please look for the file ".jose.user.preferences" in your
      personal documents folder.
Delete this file and try again...

      Hope this helps,
      Peter

      It does.
      Perfect!!!
      Thank you very much.
