There's a bug when trying to remove CR's from a file...
Open a DOS-style CRLF text file in joe. CR's are not shown by default in
newer joe's. If you make them visible with ^T Z then everything's fine. But
if you leave them unvisible as the default, then this bug occurs:
^K F (search)
` m (the CR character, shown as underlined M) Enter
r (replace) Enter
Enter (to replace it with the empty string)
Now if you press 'y' (yes) several times then LF is removed instead of the
CR, two lines collapse to one which contains an CR (underlined M).
If you press 'r' (rest), the first of the remaining occurences of CR is
handled buggy as above, but all the other ones are removed correctly.
Now press ^7 (undo) as many times as possible, the original content of the
file is restored but the screen is damaged, ^R repairs it. Then press ^6
(redo) as many times as possible, this time even the contents of the file is
