Hi, A Fedora Core user from Taiwan submitted the attached joerc. Is there anything in place to read <sysconfdir>/joe/joerc.<$LANG> ? -- Lon |

I can make a "contrib" directory for now. Someone started work on separating the help text from the joerc file so that it could be internationalized. Other people want me to implement gettext()- probably both should be done. But since joe is the first thing I compile after installing the system, I don't want it to have another dependency. (If you're going for the contrib directory, don't forget the jupprc ;-) Thanks //mirabile (Yes, I'm not a friend of locale/nls/stuff in general.) |

Gettext support can be optional, like './configure --enable-gettext'. Olexiy |

Well, at least I've enjoyed a Spanish translated "joe" for a few months. =) |
