    Hi!

Please tell us your architecture {i386/sparc/alpha}, if you
are on console or in the xterm, etc. And what means
"crashes"? Weird chars are showing up or what?

    Cheers,
    Vita

    My platform is:
    iNTEL Zappa + p120, 64 mb EDO, 4,3 Gb + 2,5 Gb Quantum Fireball
RedHat 7.1 with kernel 2.4.2-2 (stock kernel from Redhat).

When I use CTRL-S (via local tty, xterm etc.) Joe just hangs (no weird chars or anything), it just doesn't
    respond anymore.

    NOTE:
I also use windows editors who use CTRL-S for "save". Sometimes when I work a while under my Windows
editor and then under Linux again with Joe, I forget that CTRL-S doesn't work (of course). That's how I
    found this bug.

    Hi!

    It's not a bug it's a feature ;-} {not joe but terminal}.
You can press ctrl-q and all keypresses in between ctrl-s
and ctrl-q will be displayed. You can test it on another
    application eg. bash.

    Cheers,
    Vita
