Is there a way to precise to size of caracters to be scanned ?
Actually, i'd like to use gocr for handwriting (only numbers). it works great with very well scanned document. But sometimes, when the scann is bad, there are some white pixels in the number and so gocr "cut" the real number into many zones.
Maybe i can indicate the size of caractyers to look for to gocr or maybe i can act before using gocr by treating the bad scan (eg filling the white space with black pixels), but how ?
send me a sample
here is my e-mail : email@example.com
E-mail so that i can send you back the faulty *.pbm
btw, here is the command i use to scan the pbm:
gocr -p /usr/share/gocr-0.40/ -C "0123456789" -d 5 -m 130 -v 2 CR_VS_3-000-small.pbm
