I need to choose a category if I do a reposting. Example:

Got two bank accounts. I move some money from account1
to account2, and I'd like to choose a category like
"save for car".
Why? Cause I'd like to create a report which shows me
on my saving account how much money I saved to buy me a
new car.

I think you got what I mean, please notify me when
implemented.
Thanks,
Remo

If I understand you correctly, you would like to segregate
(put aside) money for a car, but you do not want to open a
new bank account for this money. You would like to keep the
money in the same bank account but have JMoney report the
amount of money in that bank account that is reserved for
    the new car.

A category is not appropriate for this situation because
categories are for income and expenses. You are trying to
keep apart money in a bank account. The correct way to do
this using JMoney is to create a child account to your
account2. The balance of the child account is the amount of
funds you have put aside for the car, and the balance of the
parent account (including the balance of the child account)
will be the actual balance of the account as reported by
    your bank.
