Hi Bob, 'load k04041.cif {1 1 1}' works well in Safari 5.1. Other items from Safari 5.1: 'load 1hxw.png' does not do anything. And ' isosurface "caffeine.jvxl" 'hangs on "Retrieving data...'. Removal of all script code brings us down by 25% (you can still send scripts, but if you DO NOT, then 0.5 Mb of code is not delivered). Note that JSmol can be programmed without scripting, but you have to know your way around it. For example, this loads a file: jmolApplet0._applet.viewer.openFile("xxxx") But none of that is documented. We had some problems with MSIE 9, but that should be fixed. If someone would try this with Safari 5.1, I would appreciate it. Particularly the link down on the middle column, load k04041.cif {1 1 1} The problem with these browsers is that we have to fake Int32Array and Float64Array. I was not doing that correctly, but now I think I have it right. Bob http://chemapps.stolaf.edu/jmol/jsmol/jsmol.htm http://chemapps.stolaf.edu/jmol/jsmol.zip -- Robert M.
