Dear Bob, Thank you for modifying zoomto and moveto to permit operations that don't change the orientation. These will be very useful. In addition to those options, I, for one, would like "set windowcentered false" to prevent "zoom" from recentering the molecule at the window center. In Jmol 11.8.9, it does this consistently, if issued immediately before the zoom command. However, at least two commands cause a state in which "show windowcentered" reports false, yet "zoom" centers the molecule in the window (e.g. "zoom" following "translate y 15"). The following commands induce this state: load something.pdb reset It may be appropriate for these commands to turn windocentered back on, but then shouldn't "show windowcentered" report true? Thanks, -Eric |

I can't reproduce the problem with zoom after translate. Works for me -- stays not windowcentered. reset should reset the windowCentered flag. If you don't want it to, use reset;set windowcentered false Bob On Sun, Nov 15, 2009 at 11:49 AM, Eric Martz <em...@mi...>wrote: > Dear Bob, > > Thank you for modifying zoomto and moveto to permit operations that > don't change the orientation.
