I just became aware of a Jmol issue that occurs only on Intel Macs.
Sorry if this is already a known topic on jmol-users. If you want to
use Shockwave in Safari or Firefox, you have to enable Rosetta (PPC)
mode, because apparently there is no Shockwave for Intel Macs yet.
Rosetta mode disables Jmol (java) in current Safari or Firefox.
Turning off Rosetta and restarting the browser re-enables Jmol/java.

here at UMass. She refers to OWL, an Online Web-based Learning system
used by thousands of general chem students here each year. Recently
they have been using Jmol in OWL.
