I know there are quite a lot new users on this list, and therefore this email.
About a year (and a half?) ago, there have been attempts to get funding of
some kind to further develop Jmol; there are still quite a lot of open ends,
and Miguel is doing 98% by himself right now. Jmol is really a great product,
and I am proud to have been head developer for some time.
But, I would ask all users again to think about possible funding of the
project, and development in particular. I know getting funding from a
academic environment for a project like this is *very* difficult, but maybe
there are industrial opportunities where the current team has not thought

Miguel or me.
Small personal donations are most welcome too, and are highly appreciated
(thanx again to those who have donated in the past!). But a more constructive
donation will speed up feature implementation quite considerably.
