This works with some drives. On my dual G4 it stopped working after I
installed a 3rd party disk. Somehow the disk firmware interferes with the OS
boot firmware and the option to switch disks at boot-time never appears. I can
still tell the system to reboot from a different drive I just can't bring up
the options. This problem may not exist with newer machines/drives.
