#16 Perform and Alias

I have been using jmirc on my 9500 and think it's
currently the best irc client available, however.....

When I join a server I have to identify to the nickserv
using the /msg nickserv identify pw command...

Can we not setup a perform script (as in mIRC)

Another thing, can you add alias' to enable us to
shorten commands and configure customised alias' for
popular cmd shortcuts..?

For example:

/j = /join
/ns = /msg nickerv

Support for /j is now added to cvs, /ns is not a good irc command and therefore
I won't add it. Perform is already on the long-term wishlist and I really hope to
get it done before 1.0. But it's acknowledged and I'll see what I can do. This
request is therefore closed, I suggest adding the nickserv message to your
favourites and using it from there acter connecting.
