Hi Kris,
To have report work for  a multiprocessor requires synchronization between the processors.  Besides synchronization being hard to get correct, it also introduces perturbation.  Finally, because the report can be generated from the multiprocessor trace files after the fact, there is no loss of information; although there is the inconvenience of running the TraceFileReader on the multiprocessor traces.
You are encouraged to get report working on a multiprocessor if you think it is important.

Peter

Hello,

I wondered why the option report is only available on a single virtual
processor ?

The alternative on multi proc is to set trace = true, right ?
But report gives a summary, trace not?
What should I do to get the same kind of output like report ?

thanks,
Kris Venstermans
