JIGL (Java Image and Graphics Library) / News: Recent posts

A source archive for the 1.6.1 release has just been posted. This update includes minor cleanups to the JIGL 1.6 source.

Changes include the following:
* Move sources into proper directory and package
* Fix compile errors
* Clean up all imports
* Remove FTP logs
* Move a test class into the src-test folder
* Fix up formatting in a lot of places. Eliminate most warnings. Switch some constants to enums. Other innocuous changes
* Switch from LGPLv2+ to LGPLv3+ license terms. This is justified according to the compatibility matrix in http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-faq.html#AllCompatibility and lets us take advantage of the new features of LGPL v3.... read more
