There is no real need. A FreeBSD port should be able to use JFS_LINUX FSes flawlessly. Of course one could add a JFS_FREEBSD value, but it would be as useless as the EXT2_OS_FREEBSD define in FreeBSD's ext2 code. Interestingly NetBSD doesn't do the same, although unlike the FreeBSD one tyheir ext2 implementation is not derived from an old, buggy Linux one </rant> |
