The start and end times of fsck.jfs are reported thus:

processing started: 5/11/2010 3.6.48
[...]
processing terminated: 5/11/2010 3:07:44 with return code: 0 exit code: 0.

The reported times have inconsistent formats. The latter is more correct; no standards that I am aware of use periods as wall time separators, or variable field lengths for minutes and seconds.

In fsck.jfs v1.1.14, the culprit is in file xchkdsk.c, line 1448. Changing "%d.%d.%d" to "%d:%02d:%02d" would make start and end time stamps consistent with each other.
