There's no way to get it back short of canceling and starting again. I've included a fun screenshot showing the effect. It's quite a humorous -- and annoying -- bug. While we're on the subject, why in the world is this window (1) modal and (2) non-resizable? Neither are appropriate for a preferences window. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: David Gilbert (mungady) Date: 2006-08-18 13:21 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=112975 I presume from the screenshot that this bug is happening on MacOSX only - I haven't been able to reproduce it on Windows or Linux. It is probably worth checking if this still occurs on their latest JRE, and reporting a bug with Apple if it does. Note that the current property editors are well overdue for a complete rewrite. When that happens, I plan to make the editor window non-modal and resizeable. I'm going to close this bug on the basis that it is most likely caused by a bug in the JRE. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Sean Luke (feijai) Date: 2006-03-17 22:02 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=176805 Oops, I didn't include the file, stupid checkbox. :-) Here you go. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=115494&aid=1452780&group_id=15494 |
