I am trying to plot a time based trend however the timeunit between each
instance would not be the same. for instance, there could be 2 plots which
are minutes apart and then one another follows which is hours or days or
even monthis apart....i need to ensure that the spacing of the plots are
uniform and just the label on the xaxis can be adjusted. As using
HorizontalDateAxis renders the above impossible, I tried to use
HorizontalSymbolicAxis which has the parameter of array of string to label
the coordinates. However this does not work. I have looked around the docs
including the 30Dollar one but i can't seem to figure it out?
can someone help me in this?
how to plot a variant time unit chart - ideal or
rendering the labels of a regular axis...?

I have a similiar question as Aravind Sethuraman
<asethuraman@...> asked back in Auguest.
I want to create a combined XY Plot chart. The Y axis is real
value, but we need to use text labels for X axis in stead of
double values. I tried to use a HorizonalSymbolicAxis with a
label string array to create CombinedXYPlot. But I got
exception in HorizonalNumberAxis::RefreshTick when it is called
Does anyone know what the best approach to add text labels to
XYPlot or CombinedXYPlot is?
Thanks a lot.
