While playing with JEdit 4 and XFree, I found an
interesting bug.

Settings are as followed:
Windows2000-machine with cygwin-xfree-server,
Linux-machine running Java 1.4 and JEdit.

When JEdit is started via Network, it is not possible to
use any Shortcuts in JEdit f.e. it is not possible to move
the cursor, delete letters in the Text-Area etc. Everything
else works fine.

When JEdit is started locally on the Linux-machine
everything is working as expected.

I really do not have an idea for the cause of this,
especially because the Keyboard-Tester displays all
keypresses in the right way..

This is probably not a jedit bug but rather a platform issue.
However, jedit 4.3 has a simplified keyboard handling mode
which might make this problem go away, you can try it.
