I know about JavaMail, but if I had used it it would require a user to install it on his/her machine as well for the plugin to work. That's not a very user-friendly behaviour since the size of the JavaMail package isn't that small, certainly not enough for a jEdit plugin. Besides, these protocols are very simple and I spent more time writing the GUI than the protocol wrapper. Thanks (all of you) for your feedback, Matt |
