Hi Kazutoshi, first sorry for being even more unresponsive than I used to be. I started a new job and now have to travel 2 hours one-way each day to work, so 4 hours less each day. Because of this I didn't have time to read any jedit-devel messages recently. Unfortunatley GMail has an unnice feature to merge identical mails that come in and thus I don't see mails in my normal folder that are sent to the list and to me personally. :-( Like I said before, If I don't answer by mail, please drop me a short note via Instant Messenger (Skype, ICQ, Jabber, GTalk, whatever) or IRC and I pay attention. Alan did this and asked me to do the 4.5.1 release so I did it, being unaware that you started something already. He also notified me about this thread, so I'm answering. :-) The release is also almost completely out, the announcement mail will likely follow today or latest tomorrow. Thanks for the note about the tag, that was of course not what I intended, I wanted to tag like I always do when I release. I will fix the tag. About the 5 Packages and Release files, those are for our Debian repository. If you update all but Release.gpg, the repository will not work as the signature is incorrect. If you don't update any file, the new version is not available through the debian package manager until the files are updated. If you create the Release.gpg file with your own signature, the users have to import your public key to correctly verify the release, this should be avoided if possible, as it will confuse the users as you correctly noted.
