The example is exactly what I'm trying to do. When I choose UTF-8 i hear an "alert/advise sound" that means I can't do that operation (this happen with every encodes). The point that signes the encode choosen does not change (on UTF-8).. so the problem is not when i click on open. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Björn Kautler (vampire0) Date: 2006-04-10 16:17 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=918212 Sorry if I ask again. You have file that IS encoded in e. g. UTF-8. You go to the open-dialog, right-click the file there and choose UTF-8 in the encoding-submenu. Then you click on open. And what happens then? Is there any maybe relevant messages in the Activity Log? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: fscutari (fscutari) Date: 2006-04-10 15:55 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1491701 no it does not work. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Björn Kautler (vampire0) Date: 2006-04-03 11:05 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=918212 That shouldn't change the encoding of the file, it just changes the encoding with which the file is opened. Does that work? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=100588&aid=1462614&group_id=588 |
