Hi, before I pollute the Bug reporting system with non-bugs, I think I better ask here whether the following is my problem or that of jEdit: I am working on a medium-sized PHP-Script (275 Lines; mostly pure-PHP) and sometimes the Syntax-Highlighting kind of switches into HTML-Mode when saving the file. Scrolling (using the scrollbar, cursor-keys or the wheel mouse) to the beginning of the document and then back to the inproperly highlighted part cures the problem until I save the document for the next time. I cannot reproduce exactly, when it happens but if it happens, only the HTML-Tags (within printf()-Statements) are highlighted. I tried to reproduce the problem with a smaller file, but I did not succeed. Just today I upgraded to pre4 (and jdk-1.4rc; WinXP), but as I have not edited the file in question with pre3, I cannot check whether the problem also occurs in pre3. The new Soft-Wrap-Feature ist turned off. Is this a bug or some feature? If it's a feature: How can I turn it off? Many thanks for jEdit anyway. I came to the program with 4.0pre3 and I really like it. Philip Hofstetter |
