Hello,
My name is Marek Bílý, student in Czech technical university in Prague, Czech republic. I want to participate in this open source project.
I have three reasons for it:
I use jEdit.
I have a lot to learn.
I have a university subject, which deals with the open-source programming. Therefore it would be useful to engage in a similar project. It would help me understand how similar communities cooperating, communicating, and so on.

How do I join? how to communicate effectively with the community? Please can you give some basic tasks, such as bug fixes in the code?

Thanks
