The Code2Html plugin does that for html.  It would probably be a good place to start for other markup languages.

Hello,

I was wondering if someone has started/done something that would export
the formatted syntax that jedit makes into markup languages, such as
html or latex ? I am aware of the existence of geshi, highlight, ... but
not one based on jedit mode files

If I were to look into that, would this be the best place to start:
org.gjt.sp.jedit.textarea.TextAreaPainter$PaintText ?
