I'm using Emacs 22 and JDE as installed by Ubuntu Gutsy.

When I try to compile from JDE, or do anything that needs to spawn Java, i get an error along the lines of this:

bsh: Specified BeanShell jar filed does not exist:
/usr/share/emacs22/site-lisp/java/lib/bsh.jar

If I create a symbolic link from
/usr/share/emacs22/site-lisp/java/lib/ to /usr/share/java/, it starts working.

I can't reproduce this. This was probably from a transient version of the JDEE. Please try with the new 2.4.0 release and reopen if still an issue.
