New member is joining the project

Ketan Padegaonkar was developing a standalone version of the JCR Browser for his use at Thought Works. He now contributes it to this project.
Based on this contribution he accepted my invitation to maintain this part of the JCR Browser as a committer. You can find out more about him at his blog http://ketan.padegaonkar.name/.
Welcome to the project Ketan!

The JCR Browser will be included in jLibrary

I'm happy to say that the 0.9.0 version of the JCR Browser will be directly included in the next official release of jLibrary (http://jlibrary.sourceforge.net). I hope this helps the jLibrary developers seeing how the repository actually looks like and it might also be interesting for the jLibrary users to look behind the scenes of jLibrary and to see the JSR 170 in action.
The architecture of the JCR Browser makes it possible to just have a separate component (Eclipse plugin) for a tight coupled connection to jLibrary. The UI itself does only work with the JCR jars and is completely independent from the jLibrary connector and the other connectors (RMI connector and Local Jackrabbit connector).

Version 0.9.0 Released

The brand new 0.9.0 version has just been released.
It contains the following news:
o Changed license to Apache 2
o Added new "JCR" perspective
o Added repository search by XPath
o You can now copy the XPath of a node in the clipboard. This
comes quite handy for the search.
I'm looking forward to any feedback (also suggestions for improvements). Please just drop a mail to sandro_boehme at users.sourceforge.net or write to the mailing list. ... read more

Hello,

as you didn't hear news from the JCR browser project for some time, here is the current status:
The infrastructure is updated and the code is refactured (the initial version was a prototype).
My next steps will be to improve the exception handling, to think about the license again and
of course to integrate it in the jLibrary project.
Some details for those who are interested in:
At the moment the JCR browser consists of 4 plugins:... read more
