I, for one, use some plug-in(s) for jEdit to do much the same. Of course, it would be nice if the tools are "compatible" so they do not "destroy" each others work. Again, the jEdit component that can apply Java style to a source file can be extensively configured to adhere to a particular style (including JavaDoc style).
