JarPlug hits 95% on SourceForge

During the first week of its release JarPlug hit the 95th percentile on the SourceForge activity metrics. It logged almost 600 downloads, and an equal number of page-hits, indicating a heavy demand for the facilities it provides.

JarPlug is an Eclipse 3.0 plugin that lets you view and edit Jar/Zip/War/Ear/Sar files (etc) inside the workspace, breaking developer dependence on third party tools such as File Explorer or WinZip.

JarPlug is currently available at version 0.6.0. It is bundled with JarLaunch: a plugin that lets you run an executable Jar file directly from a context menu. JarPlug and JarLaunch are licensed under the Eclipse CPL 1.0.
