This API seems to be a good candidate for AOP.
From my point of view, It would push the "JAMon concept" a step further.

I agree. I had been hoping others would take this ball and run with it. I have been focusing on furthering the core of what jamon does and hoping others would use the api to do things like interface monitoring, a jdbc driver, integration with log4j, aop etc. That hasn't happened as much as i would have liked, but i still have hope others will contribute in this way. Note here are some nice examples of how to use AOP with jamon in the meantime.
