I want to change some code in watij-plugin and i find that there is a log4j already installed inside the watij-jameleon.
I want to use it, but i dont know where is the configuration file stored.
i use "log.debug("test")" but nothing appear in console.
Does anyone know how to activate the logger ?
thanks in advance
Are you using the latest code from SVN or the last release?
I am using the code from the SVN because the watij-plugin itself has not been released yet, if I am not mistaken?
The log4j.properties file is embedded in jameleon-core.jar. Basically the new log4j.properties file just turns everything off so that too much stuff doesn't get sent to the screen. You could write your own logj4.properties file and make sure it gets loaded in the CLASSPATH first. Or you could simply use the traceMsg method in the function tag itself. It is only sent to stdout for now.
