jAlarms 1.3 available

Release 1.3 of the jAlarms library is now available. Several changes have been made since 1.2:

  • All @Autowired and @Required annotations have been replaced by the standard @Resource annotation which is included in Java 6.
  • Now using SLF4J 1.6.1
  • CommandLineChannel now takes a list of strings as the command to run; the first string is the command and the rest are the arguments. One of those arguments can be ${msg} and it gets replaced with the alarm. This is done through the properties commandWithArgs and commandsWithArgsBySource, which are the preferred way of setting the commands now. command and commandsBySource still work.
  • The only class that depends on Spring is MailChannel.

There is now support for AspectJ, through the AlarmAspect class and the @AlarmOnException annotation. You can setup the aspect with pure AspectJ or via Spring AOP. More info on http://jalarms.sourceforge.net/aop.html
