#17 jahplayer dies on startup

Jahplayer dies on startup with the error:
Errors occurred
See the logfile 'C:\Program
Files\Jahplayer\jahplayer.exe.log' for details

The log file contains the following snippet for each
time I've tried to start the player:

    When I installed the latest version, and the 2 previous versions, it drapped out the first run, gave me the "send error report" dialog.
    Running winXP Pro, Service Pack2, and all available updates at the time.

    From the screen shots I saw, i REALLY wanted to use this, but alas, I fear I will no longer be able to, nor will I ever have the opportunity, which sucks from everything i read about Jahshaka.

    If someone can clue me in as to how to install this in the XP environment, I'd appreciate it. (Now, where's that other pc, and copy of Fedora I have laying about wandered off to....)
